Which markets can I trade?
ArgoFX provides customers with more than 40 FX trading varieties, 2 precious metals (gold, silver), crude oil and natural gas, Cryptocurrency (bitcoin, etc.), a variety of CFD stock index CFDs, and more than 20 global popular stocks.
When am I able to trade on the platform?
From Sunday 21:05 UTC through to Friday 20:55 UTC.
Where can I find the product specifications?
Product specifications are listed in the 'Markets' section of the app. Select a product and open up a trade window. Then click on the '?' icon for detailed product information.
What trading fees does ArgoFX charge?
ArgoFX does not charge any commission - only spread. Our FX spreads are variable and from 0.6. Overnight swaps and financing adjustments are applied to positions held overnight.
What is the minimum order size?
The minimum order size for FX, crude oil and precious metal products is 0.01 lot, the minimum order size for natural gas and CFD stock index CFDs is 0.1 lot, the minimum order size for Cryptocurrency is 0.2 lots, and the minimum order size for stock products is 1 lot.
What leverage do you offer?
For FX and precious metals, ArgoFX provides customers with three kinds of leverage at the same time: 100:1, 200:1, 400:1.For crude oil and natural gas, we provide two types of leverage: 50:1, 200:1.For CFD stock index CFDs, we provide two types of leverage: 100:1, 200:1.
What is slippage and when might it occur?
Slippage occurs when an order is not filled at a specified price, generally because of low liquidity or price gaps.
Is there a time limit on holding a position or limit on the number of orders I can have open at any one time?
There are no time limits to open orders, however you must maintain sufficient funds to cover margin requirements and swap adjustments.
Why was my order closed forcibly?
When the Trading account, copy account or master account margin level (margin level = Total equity / Margin * 100%) is lower than 20%, the system will activate the liquidation mechanism, and the position will be closed from the order with the largest loss.
